Job Description
- Prepare investment ledger closing for insurance sector and ensure the accounting records comply with relevant accounting standards and policies
- Responsible for enhancing investment system, supporting new product launch and investment initiatives
- Review existing finance control procedures and identify necessary improvement grounds to drive efficiency or ensure compliance with group/new regulatory requirements
- Liaise with different stakeholders, business departments and shared service departments on accounting and regulatory issues
- Prepare statutory reports in accordance to the new requirement and accounting standard
- Handle ad-hoc projects in related to insurance department
Job Requirement
- Bachelor's Degree holder in Finance and Accounting
- Qualified Accountant (e.g. ACCA/HKICPA) is preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in financial reporting and/or fund & investment accounting will be considered as AM; 6-10 years of experience in financial reporting and/or fund & investment accounting will be considered as M
- Experienced in big four audit (in financial services) is an advantage
