To learn more, visit www.knoll.com Position Profile: The Senior Business Analyst will report to the VP of Finance – Knoll Lifestyle, spanning the following segment businesses: KnollStudio, KnollEurope, Holly Hunt, DatesWeiser, Muuto, KnollTextiles®, Spinneybeck | FilzFelt, and Edelman® Leather. Responsibilities will include monthly close activities, financial reporting and analysis, process improvement and project based work. The role will interface with all disciplines within Finance and the Lifestyles Businesses, including Sales, Marketing, Operations, Logistics, Customer Service and IT. The Senior Business Analyst will need to be confident and comfortable with working in highly visible Senior Executive settings. Key Tasks & Responsibilities: Monthly and quarterly financial performance analytics, including but not limited to forecast updates, driver comparison commentary, bridging changes, analyzing volume/price/mix, planning and ad-hoc Develop and maintain financial models for planning, forecasting, and ad hoc decision support; including but not limited to profitability, return on investment, cash flow, working capital, scenario analysis, etc. Develop insightful and efficient monthly reporting of sales mix, T&E expenses, lease schedules, and inventory analysis Interpret complex results, identify problems, research solutions, and make recommendations Prepare executive-level quality presentations (Knoll leadership, Board of Directors, etc.) Lead cross functional initiatives including research, analytical and operational Comply with internal controls and policies, review and improve across Lifestyle companies Complete other ad-hoc assignments and other responsibilities as assigned Periodic travel, up to one/two weeks per quarter Required Skills Required Education / Experience / Skills: Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field, 4-6 years of relevant work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. CPA/CFA preferred and/or MBA a plus. Minimum of 3 years of directly related financial analysis experience with increasing responsibility Strong MS-Excel skills, ability to manipulate and distill complex data sets into key drivers and meaningful business / executive level metrics Strong preference for candidates with Strategic/Financial Planning and Analysis backgrounds; demonstrated skills in Price, Volume, Mix, Margin/Profitability, Expense Control analytics Understands how to work/collaborate and working effectively with teams virtually Oracle and/or Navision experience (or demonstrated high proficiency in complex ERPs) Must be able to handle multiple tasks, self-prioritize, deliver on projects and organizational needs daily with a very high level of accuracy. Ability to understand and improve financial/accounting close processes Excellent problem solving and analytical skills and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong ability to work cross-functionally Experience with multiple system interfaces and report writing experience Microsoft Office products knowledge (Power-point/Excel/Word) SDL2017
