Pentair is currently seeking a Financial Analyst to join our team at our Conroe, TX site. This position will be responsible for supporting our operations leadership team on a daily basis as well as various other financial activities including but not limited to planning, forecasting, costing, inventory control, financial modeling, month-end close responsibilities, capital projects, and reporting financial and non-financial results and variances. We will: Create career growth and rotational opportunities within various areas of finance Pay competitively Provide on the job training and mentoring in Pentair's proven best practices environment Foster an environment of hands-on technical product education Offer health, wealth, and life benefits Support your long-term retirement goals through a competitive 401K matching and stock purchase plan Offer employee discounts Tell you more about all the great benefits – just ask You will: Be a valued and integral part of a global organization, engaging at various senior levels of leadership Work closely with our manufacturing operations team in Pentair's Integrated Management System (PIMS) Identify continuous improvement opportunities and solutions through: Daily, weekly and monthly reporting, ensuring timely & accurate results Variance analysis to monthly budgets, forecasts, and outlooks Hourly manufacturing efficiency and productivity reporting and analysis Standard cost updates, roll-ups and work center updates Supporting capital expenditure requests, IRR modeling, and forecasting of open projects Monthly cross-functional calls to review excess and obsolete inventory Managing month-end close responsibilities such as journal entries and accrual accounting Supporting site control responsibilities such as the approval process Supporting inventory control and E&O reporting Standardization of various finance and accounting requirements Collecting, understanding, and loading financial and non-financial data for various reports Grow with our manufacturing operations team and overall organization in a culture that fosters respect and teamwork, positive energy, customer first, absolute integrity, innovation and adaptability, and accountability for performance Job Requirements & Skills You should: Have at least 3 years of related finance experience in a manufacturing environment Have earned at least a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, MBA or CPA/CMA is preferred Have strong interpersonal skills and excellent communicator Be detail oriented Build relationships quickly and be able to influence others Have strong reporting skills Have strong presentation skills Have exceptional planning and forecasting skills Thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Be flexible, creative, respectful, and overall team player Have the ability to work under time constraints and deadlines Bring a positive attitude to work every day We like, but don't require: Experience using SAP, JDE, HFM/Hyperion Essbase, COGNOS, and TM1 (Applix) Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles EEO Statement Pentair is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
