• Participate in month-end close activities including the preparation and review of journal entries and review of budget-to-actual reports
• Prepare and review monthly reconciliations of assigned balance sheet accounts and ensure that general ledger accounts are reconciled with resolution to reconciling items
• Analyzing complex financial reports and records
• Making recommendations based on analysis and status of reserves, assets and expenditures
• Reviewing journal entries of junior accountants to ensure accuracy
• Documenting and monitoring internal controls in support of auditing team
• Coordinating more complex accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the accounting and finance team
• Ensures the data entered into the ERP system is accurate and timely to support accurate financial reporting
• Assist with Banking activities like setting up new accounts, adding new signatures, bank reconciling items, banking fees, positive pay exceptions
• Assist in the preparation and distribution of financial statements.
• Ensure that all deliverable comply with regulatory guidance and professional standards.
