THE SEARCH:

Altus Partners are are pleased to be partnering with a leading Health Care business based in South-West London with services in over 150 locations across the UK.

THE ROLE:

The successful applicant will join as a senior member of the finance team to support the CFO and Head of M&A and will be responsible for all business partnering and FP&A activity.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Process management including ownership and continual improvement
  • Presentation and communication of management information to relevant stakeholders, and ensuring the whole Central Finance team understand divisional finance performance
  • Preparation and presentation of financial reports and plans for the CFO and divisional stakeholders
  • Partnering of stakeholders to ensure information transparency and accuracy to drive strategic decisions
  • Preparation of regular and timely management information packs to allow stakeholders to accurately monitor performance and consequently make informed decisions
  • Management of the annual budget and monthly estimates presented by the CFO
  • Financial management of quarterly forecasts, the three-year strategy and the ICAAP process
  • Keeping up-to-date on industry trends
  • Reviewing and reconciling outputs ahead of internal and external distribution, and ensuring the team understand the relevance of tasks in business operation
  • Output improvement through continual management information and process appraisal
  • Systems implementation and improvement and internal controls to company standards
  • Ad hoc divisional work such as Q&A and analysis
  • Audit engagement, dividend payments and financial statement preparation to support the year and half year end processes
  • Enact change and driving business efficiencies

THE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • A strong background in FP&A with M&A experience
  • Business partnering experience with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
  • Demonstrable process improvement expertise
  • Proficiency with excel
  • Strong systems experience, with implementation preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong motivation and determination
