Finance Manager (Chinese Speaking ) required for new FMCG start up in the UK
Qualified Accountant with SME business experience required
An international FMCG business launching a UK business .
Backed by a global brand our client is looking to set up an office in the UK.
As the Finance & Operations Manager you are responsible for the set up of all processes and procedures so that the business adheres to required UK laws and can start trading as soon as possible.
This will cover all aspects of Finance including:
- cash flow management
- Management/ financial account preparation
- payroll, Tax
- managing the audit
As the Finance Manager you will ensure the integrity of the accounts.
This role may increase in responsibility depending on requirements and will involve liaison with Chinese HQ.
Commutable from Gerrards Cross / Watford / London and the Thames Valley
The Finance Manager needs to be a qualified accountant with experience gained in a SME, ideally FMCG or Consumer Goods.
You'll have excellent examples of managing cash flow and company set up understanding reporting requirements, tax and legislative requirement of the company.
Ideally, you will have a FMCG or Consumer Durable background and understand the retail landscape in the UK.
An understanding of Cantonese or Mandarin or experience working with a Chinese business is required.
