people2people are collaborating with the NSW Government who are currently seeking a Management Accountant on an initial 3 month assignment with the possibility of extension or permanent position located in Wagga Wagga.
THE ROLE
You will be working closely with the Financial Controller to manage a variety of accounting tasks such as analysing receivable, payables, payroll and general financial accounting. Your duties will also include but are not limited to:

You will be working closely with the Financial Controller to manage a variety of accounting tasks such as analysing receivable, payables, payroll and general financial accounting. Your duties will also include but are not limited to:
- Collate data from systems and prepare monthly and financial reports
- Control and manage special purpose funds
- Support cost centre managers with ad-hoc tasks as they arise
- Manipulate excel spreadsheet formulas as required
- Leasing with a variety of stakeholders
- Negotiating with internal members on cost related matters
ABOUT YOU
To be eligible for this role you must have:
- Comnpleted Diploma or Higher accreditation
- Government, Health or large corporation experience will be highly beneficial
- Advanced Excel skills
- Oracle or any other large ERP systems experience
- Able to work well under pressure
- Able to work autonomously
