Our client is a modern, technology focused accounting and software company. Having now operated for more than 10 years, they have recruited a client base of more than 6,000. They have developed various software products including cloud accounting software and they operate from a northern office and also a London office, meaning that they can reach a real range of clients; they offer their services nationwide which has resulted in a very diverse client portfolio. This company focus on the smaller end of the market, meaning their clients are typically owner-managed businesses and micro businesses.

What you will do:

You, the new Payroll Clerk, will join this exciting team in the Wirral office. You will spend your time completing regular payroll for small businesses and also conducting auto-enrolment, mostly through NEST. The Payroll Clerk will also make calculations and payments for sick pay and maternity and paternity leave. The payroll will mainly be completed using Moneysoft Payroll Manager. You will have the opportunity to shape the future of the company and your career by having your say and input on creating bespoke payroll software.

Required Skills:

• Proficient with IT and accounting software packages
• Previously worked in an accountancy practice
• Highly organised

Preferred Skills:

• Payroll qualification
• Good, quick decision maker
