Revenue Analyst

Leading PLC in Stockport is recruiting an experienced Revenue Analyst. Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance the role will be responsible for the following duties:

• To perform one off and regular analysis and reporting of issues and trends in the revenue data for the business
• To develop internal processes and working practices for improving reporting and analysis.
• To develop data interpretation practices to help the business to identify and understand the factors affecting our customers’ behaviour
• To standardise and improve reporting
• To assist in commercial systems upgrades and new system developments when required.
• To assist in the data gathering and interpretation processes for bids and in potential acquisition opportunities

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• Previous experience of providing support in a complex retail environment, in particular managing incidents and problems through to resolution or escalation.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Customer and business focused.
• Ability to communicate clearly and precisely both in writing and verbally.
• Ability to explain technical concepts at an appropriate level, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to learn new technical concepts rapidly.
• Ability to plan own time efficiently with a focus on delivery of tasks.

Desirable Skills/Qualifications:

• A degree or vocational skills in a science or computer based subject.
• Experience of SQL.
• Experience of mass data analytics.
