There's a lot to learn about audit methodology and we deliver within defined time, cost and quality parameters so the ability to prioritise and work to deadlines is essential.

You'll work across the Group and develop your network to understand and evaluate current and emerging business risks and how they may impact People & Productivity division.

A key facet of this role is to support the audit engagement leads to deliver high-quality internal audit opinions and you'll play a key role in the tracking of any issues identified during the audit through to resolution.
You'll have a relentless curiosity and the confidence to make recommendations based on your findings.

Adept at communicating well, you'll be able to tailor your style to a wide range of stakeholders via written and verbal methods and articulate your message in a straightforward way.

You'll need to make sense of complex processes and represent our customer's perspective to identify potential areas of risk.

If you can demonstrate a proven ability to learn quickly and progress in your past or present roles, you should consider a career within Group Internal Audit.

You will have worked in either an assurance related role and be looking to develop subject-matter expertise in an HR People function, or you'll already have expertise in HR and understand the way in which the function helps the Group meet the needs of our customers.

You'll understand the key risks and controls within your current role and you'll be able to articulate how you've identified potential areas for control improvement.

You'll receive full support and training to develop your audit career including opportunity to attain a professionally recognised qualification. So this role could well suit you if you're a graduate, keen to transfer the skills and experience you've already gained in your career, to an internal audit function.

You'll demonstrate a relentless curiosity and the confidence to make recommendations based on your findings, adapting your communication style to a wide range of stakeholders and able to articulate your message in a straightforward way.
