Job Description
- Report to the Senior Finance Manager, Asia
- Responsible for financial reporting and regulatory reporting for Hong Kong and China
- Manage a small team and oversee month-end closing and consolidations for the group's business
- Handle intercompany transactions and accounts reconciliation
- Prepare FRR return and tax filings
- Monitor accounting system, policies and procedures
- Conduct various ad-hoc reports
- Involve in regional and global process improvement projects
Requirements
- University degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
- Recognized professional qualification is a must
- Minimum of 7 years relevant experience in financial institutions/ asset management
- Experience with accounting systems, such as PeopleSoft, Oracle, SAP
- Solid knowledge of IFRS is required
- Knowledge of financial or fund products will be an advantage
- Hardworking and able to work under pressure
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, fluent Mandarin will be an advantage
