Job Title: Commercial Finance Analyst

Reports to: Director Commercial Finance

Location: Edinburgh

Who you are….

You have excellent commercial acumen and the ability to proactively identify opportunities and risks to ensure business success. You have demonstrated experience in project management skills - organising and prioritising and working under pressure to tight deadlines.

You have experience in Financial Planning/Analysis or Commercial Finance from industry and are a part or fully qualified accountant. Finally, you have excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills coupled with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

What you'll do….

As a key member of the Commercial Finance team, you will work to support various FP&A activities, with a specific emphasis on financial forecasting and cost management within the largest new content area of the business - Power & Renewables. For example, on a monthly and quarterly basis you will provide detailed analysis of the financial results, embedding high quality insights and commentary to support all analysis.

Furthermore you will develop a deep understanding of the Power & Renewables business helping identify focus areas and efficiencies to better run the business. Finally, you will be heavily involved in the annual budgeting process, quarterly reforecasts and ensuring ownership and accountability by the business is maintained throughout.
