General Description

This position is within the Compliance Transformation team of the Compliance Department. As the Business Manager, the incumbent will continue to function as the data officer of the department to ensure integrity in the data flows, data storage and data extraction where relevant for Compliance Department's use. Additionally, the Business Manager will act as the Operational Risk Partner for the Department, reviewing all Operational Risk, Technology Risks (including the Department's Access Controls) and assess its requests and requirements across the teams at a Department level on behalf of Compliance Management.

Main Duties

The Business Manager will be required to take on cross functional / teams tasks for the Department, include but not limited to :
  • The governance of the Department's Access Controls (including reviews and attestations) into the various systems used by Compliance Officers in Singapore and the Satellite entities.
  • For ERC reporting purpose, tracking of audit issue closure (3 months in advance) for compliance-related issues.
  • Coordinating with the various Team Heads of the Department to ensure data integrity from data entry points, data flows, data storage to data extraction relevant for Compliance Department's use, e.g. Management, Board and Regulatory reports as well as Data Analytics.
  • As the Operational Risk Partner for the Department to Operational Risk, Technology Risks and assess its requests and requirements across the Compliance teams.
  • Strong business management, project management and senior management reporting experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Solutions-oriented and willingness to work on various compliance issues.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
