Financial Analyst, Pricing & Policy
With a dual/matrix reporting line, this role shall support the Financial Controller and the Commercial Marketing function, in areas of pricing analysis and strategy aligned to both market price points and the brand positioning. This analysis shall also look at the assessment of product profitability & price flexibility to ensure both revenue management & price optimisation. Combined with this oversight, the role shall also monitor costing points, across the business operations to report on cost management tools, allowing for all aspects of pricing strategies to be considered. This component shall be key in supporting all business to business (B2B) and business to consumer (B2C) partnerships & product development initiatives as part of the overall corporate objectives and competitiveness of the products lines & services.
The successful candidate should be a finance professional, ideally from a Chartered Accountancy background (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA), who can demonstrate very strong Excel based financial modelling skills. This shall lead the focus towards extensive financial & business analysis development & execution, to be rolled-out across the regional businesses, in support of the sales & marketing functions. This shall be coupled with the need for very strong financial planning & analysis skills, whereby strong financial reporting channels can also be supported & refined across the organisation. The client is also seeking a candidate who is very knowledgably of the geographical region from a Dubai based hub, coupled with an understanding of multi-product and complex businesses who adhere to both global operational policy and business partnership models. The ability to partner with business stakeholder whilst communicating strongly & accurately will be another key aspect within the search criterion.
