Our client is seeking a Senior Compliance Manager who can work with the delivery team of their department, other internal teams, and also directly with clients preparing, reviewing and advising on the preparation of statutory accounts and tax returns.

Description
You will have responsibility for:
Managing a portfolio of compliance clients while being supported by a team of Compliance Assistants
Managing a diverse team with meritocratic culture
Building an internal network and win new compliance clients
Supporting the Compliance Assistants with day to day training and development
Reviewing work done by junior members of the team
Production of statutory accounts including FRS 102, FRS 105, LLP and Sole Trader
Preparation of corporation tax returns
Taking a lead on automating the compliance process as much as practical
Profile
To be considered for the role you must have:
An accountancy qualification (ACA, CA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent
An enjoyment of working for different clients whilst understanding their individual needs.
Significant statutory accounts experience
Experience in accounts preparation and producing tax computations
Experience of leading a team whilst being responsible for their own tasks
Superb attention to detail and quality review
Confidence with clients and good communication skills
The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Good time management skills
A good understanding of day to day bookkeeping through to stat accounts
A keen interest in technology and innovative ways to deliver information to clients in a timely manner
