about the job

• Develop/implement routines to capture and analyze information and present independent view of Hong Kong's Operational Risk Profile (key issues, status of remedial actions, etc.) to senior management
• Ensure applicable local Operational Risk related policies (e.g. Internal Loss reporting) are being adhered to
• Accountable for all Operational Risk related regulatory submissions and inspections
• Assist (or drive) Post Mortem incident analysis for significant events or key Operational Risk related projects
• Conduct Operational Risk training
• Proactively participate Hong Kong's Regulatory Governance routines and BCP

skills & experiences required

• University degree in finance, business or accounting
• At least 4-5 years of relevant working experience, including 1 - 2 years of operational risk management experience
• Strong organizational skills; able to prioritize tasks, juggle multiple projects and follow through
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver under tight deadlines
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to drive consensus across a diverse set of stakeholders
• Understanding of a broad range of financial products Finance/Accounting/Middle Office/Risk Management experience a plus
• Experience in dealing with regulatory inspections
• Strong communication skills in fluent English and Mandarin
