Key Responsibilities:
 
General Ledger Governance

  • Perform month-end account closing activities and reconciliations;
  • Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries for accruals and variances as per defined deadlines;
  • Completion of the Entity Tax Packs according to the agreed schedules;
  • Ensure that all information is entered into the company’s accounting ledger accurately and corrections are made if needed;
  • Conducting regular ledger closings;
  • Ensuring properly accounted transactions;
  • Management of fixed assets;

Analysis: 

  • Provide supporting documentation and analysis for monthly financial review meetings;
  • Prepare monthly, annual and ad-hoc financial reports in accordance with Coca-Cola Hellenic accounting calendar;
  • Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports;

Continuous process improvement: 

  • Maintain all controls and procedures to ensure compliance with Coca-Cola Hellenic and local accounting policies and legislation, as well as internal controls;
  • Promote, develop and maintain effective communication, interaction, and excellent relationship with internal and external partners, including ensuring their requirements are identified and consistently met;
  • Participate in initiatives to increase process efficiency, standardization and redesign in line with the business needs;
  • Participate actively in knowledge preservation and information management to support business dynamics;

Process Automation

  • Execute accounting activities with the assistance of robotics automations and ERP automation including automatic calculation and posting of provisions, balance sheet reclassifications posted by robotics and automatic generation of financial statement;
  • Work with the Robotics Process Automation team on various projects for further innovative and effective solutions;
     

Requirements:

Experience and skills

  • 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably gained in a fast moving, large, multinational environment;
  • Experienced user of Microsoft applications;
  • Good time management and priority setting – work with tight deadlines;
  • Team player, action oriented with attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Very good stakeholder management;
  • Excellent problem analysis and problem-solving skills;
  • Experience of a Shared Services environment as an advantage 


Knowledge

  • ERP systems (knowledge of SAP) would be considered as an advantage
  • Excellent knowledge of general accounting principles;
  • Excellent command of English, both written and verbal; 
  • Degree in Accounting or Economics;
