Senior User Acceptance Tester - Mobile Payments

As a Barclays Senior User Acceptance Tester, you'll have the exciting opportunity to work on multiple high impact project/programmes, taking prime responsibility for identifying, planning and controlling all user acceptance related activity, whilst ensuring the quality of test strategy, scripts and subsequent solution is fit for purpose. You will be undertaking User Acceptance Testing for a roadmap of deliverables supporting the feature and release development aligned to the mobile payments vision, and customer proposition. You'll lead and support UAT from definition, through design, development and deployment and have the opportunity to coach user acceptance testers when required.

As Senior User Acceptance Tester, your main responsibilities will involve:
* Accountability for testing and creating deliverables; test strategy, test plans, scripts, and completion reports from various documentation
* Contribution to user acceptance and beta testing
* Accountability for successful delivery of high quality user acceptance testing on business change projects/BAU activities
* Ensuring that all activities are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, enterprise wide risk management framework and internal Barclays policies
* Collaborate with product and propositions teams to plan test and release high quality features in mobile apps
* Understand own and role model the Barclays values, helping to create an environment, that supports these and enables team members to achieve their maximum potential

As Senior User Acceptance Tester, your skills and experience will include:
* Extensive knowledge of mobile applications including their impact on the customer experience across various channels including Android and iOS - essential
* Experience of test planning and the ability to re-plan and prioritise based on changing circumstances
* Ability to demonstrate that you have an eye for detail and be able to see the products through the eye of the customer
* Strong desire to seek out and embrace new ways of working to improve overall productivity of the team
* Experience of defect management and test management tools, Confluence/JIRA is preferred
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment under pressure and to tight deadlines
