Cognizant is hiring Technical Business Analyst - Big Data position in Sydney

Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of API & database applications
• Experience interfacing with marketing & business operations teams
• Familiarity with financial services and/or retail sectors
• Sound and proven experience in both waterfall and agile based execution
• Knowledge and understanding of enterprise information data and information management concepts and principles, as a means of consulting with I.T. Stakeholders
• Strong communication, collaboration and influencing skills to work with business partners/stakeholders and achieve agreed outcomes.
• Strong customer/client focus, with the ability to manage expectations appropriately, to provide a superior customer/client experience.
• Documentation management using confluence, office and/or MS TeamServices.

Mandatory Skills:

• 6 years total Experience in I.T.
• 4 years of recent experience as a Business Analyst working on Technology or Analytics projects
• Recent experience working in Data, Analytics or API (digital) type projects
• Exposure to Big Data & HDFS projects (highly regarded)
• Experience interfacing with Business and I.T. managers
• API / application project experience (well regarded)
• Agile project experience mandatory.
• Experience in owning the creation & grooming of Jira stories and tasks.
