This position sits within the Capital Markets team within a Private Equity fund administration business based in London.

The candidate will have responsibility for the administration and accounting of a client portfolio, including the development and mentoring of the more junior team members.

Description

Working within a specialised fund services team on all aspects of fund administration, accounting and reporting

- Working on a portfolio of one or two high profile fund clients

- Be in daily correspondence with fund clients and attend to all queries accurately and efficiently

- Liaising with third parties such as lawyers, auditors, bankers and investment managers as required

- Assistance with preparation and attendance of meetings

- Organise, hold and take minutes of board meetings and shareholder meetings

- Assisting with transaction management such as the acquisition/disposal of investments, re-financing and new investors

- Providing training/mentoring to junior members of the team

- Liaison with the accounts team and other support teams to ensure customer deadlines are met

- Monitoring of WIP and billing in accordance with fee agreements

- Arranging payments and work on relevant banking platforms

- Arrange settlement of invoices

- Reconciliation of payment logs and approvals

- Preparation and implementation of customer specific procedures

- Monitor of tasks on Console to ensure completion on a timely basis

- Assisting with the collation of due diligence and customer take on procedures

- Completion of periodic reviews on an annual basis

Profile

- Direct experience working in a Fund Accounting team

- Part Qualified ACCA, ACA or CIMA

-ICSA (or equivalent) qualification or studying towards

-Minimum of 3 years' experience in the industry

-Excellent communication and organisation skills

-An understanding of Jersey statutory laws and other related legal and regulatory requirements for example Anti-Money Laundering laws

-Motivated and driven.

Job Offer

£30,000-£40,000 depending upon experience.
