Management Accountant

This role is responsible for the ownership of the timely and accurate production of monthly management accounts and long term fuel forecasts. This role will be require you to liaise closely with and support all commercial departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, detailed and accurate variance analysis.

Description

Key accountability's for this Management Accountant position include:

• Provide expert support to wider business stakeholders to allow business change and development
• Accurate weekly commercial valuations and monthly management accounts
• Work with commercial teams, such as Traders, to ensure progression of contract discussions from an analytical and commercial standpoint
• Provide regular reports to broad audience across the business
• assist with creation, control and development of modelling tools including investment appraisal
• Preparation and ownership of long term forecasts in support of the business plan
• Ownership of the FX exposures report, including week on week analysis

Profile

the successful candidate for this Management Accountant role will be:

• Team player who is prepared to support on project work where required
• Ability to work with stakeholders outside of finance
• ability to construct and maintain all financial models
• excellent organisational skills
• newly or recently qualified accountant
• high level MS Office Skills, especially Excel
