Finance Analyst - Chelsea Harbour

As the Finance Analyst - Chelsea Harbour you will be the sole person in the Accountancy department where you will be the financial steward for the business, responsible to provide financial support to local and central management and to support the business in setting, tracking and reaching its financial objectives.

Expected to take an active interest in the business, brand and products, to continuously keep up to date with all relevant changes, to identify, quantify and communicate opportunities and risks to the relevant business partners

My client is a Bathroom, Tableware and Kitchen design company based in Fulham.

Description

As the Finance Analyst - Chelsea Harbour you will have the below duties:

1. Task:

Business Controlling / Business Partnering

Responsible to monitor, analyse and report the performance of the different KPIs: Net Sales, Gross Margin, Operating Margin and Overheads.

Ensure revenue and profit growth objectives are aligned with corporate financial targets, budget, policies and strategic plans.

Strive to continuously improve and optimize business processes and support the local and central management in implementing optimization projects.

2. Task:

Finance / Financial Controlling

Ensure correct, complete and timely monthly and yearly closings by working with Shared Service Centre Accounting and central Controlling. All in accordance with internal V&B guidelines, IFRS and Statutory Tax laws.

Analyse, comment and report financial figures as required (Sales, P&L, B/S, Cash-Flow).

3. Task:

Planning

Responsible to prepare and present data/documents for the approval of the annual budget, financial and business plans (forecasts), feasibility studies, investment plans and other financial documents when required.

4. Task:

Communication

Function as a link between external entities, such as Financial Consultants, Financial Auditors, authorities, banks and various internal central departments: Tax, Accounting, Internal Audit, Treasury, HR.

5. Task:

Risk Reporting

Responsible for short and long-term risk management and reporting, together with the Sales Director.

6. Task:

Investment evaluation

Develop sound financial plans for future investments.

New shops are evaluated using the shop calculation tool.

Profile

As the Finance Analyst - Chelsea Harbour you will:

• Understand and be able to produce a full set of management accounts.
• Have worked in a similar role for a minimum of 5 years.
• Ideally be part qualified ACCA/CIMA

Job Offer

£40,000 - £45,000 + 10% bonus and other benefits
