Part Time Accountant

My retail client based in Hatfield are looking for a Part Time Accountant to join their finance team. They are in need of someone on a part time basis that will be willing to stay on a permanent basis.

My client are a market leader and a wonderful business to work for situated in Hatfield. They operate predominantly within the retail sector and have experienced good growth over the past few years. As finance is a key support function, the business's growth has also increased to workload there. This is why they need someone on a permanent basis to help deal with the extra work.

Description

This Part Time Accountant Role will involve

• To produce weekly management information, and monthly packs, relating to separate site contracts
• To process internal cross charges and trial balances
• To provide and interpret financial information relative to separate contracts
• To monitor cost flows and to identify future trends
• To evaluate ways to cut costs and present viable options
• To manage budgets and provide accurate information and costing; providing a detailed variance analysis breakdown against Budget/Forecast.
• To process figures to identify shared gain
• To ensure that all purchase orders and supplier invoices are logged and processed
• To hold petty cash and manage expenditure of sundries
• To ensure data and information is kept confidential at all times
• To undertake all other tasks as reasonably requested by the Senior Finance Manager
