Join our Transfer Pricing team and play a pivotal role supporting our dynamic business working across all areas of the group's operations.
The role is part of a specialist global Transfer Pricing team with members in Sydney, New York and London, and offers exposure to transfer pricing issues working on new transactions and businesses across the group. You will be working closely with business units and other members of the Tax team globally providing advice in relation to all cross-border dealings of the Macquarie Group.
You will have oversight of and involvement in the preparation of transfer pricing documentation, including assistance with the preparation of functional analysis and benchmarking for the various businesses in key jurisdictions. Consideration of transfer pricing issues relating to new transactions will be key as you interact with other members of the Transfer Pricing and broader Tax teams on new transactions involving cross border dealings. You will be responsible for general transfer pricing research including analysis of recent cases, legislation and government announcements, especially in relation to investment banking activities; for liaising with external advisors where appropriate; and for assisting with revenue authority queries where required in audit and review situations.
You will bring experience in a similar transfer pricing advisory role within a banking or financial services environment. A university degree in Economics, Commerce, Accounting and/or Law would be an advantage, along with an ability to develop and maintain strong internal client relationships with business unit executives and external relationships with advisors. You will be adept at forming a technical view and making timely decisions within the parameters set for the role, while maintaining a commercial focus and outlook
If you are a well-organised self-starter with strong communication looking for the opportunity to deal with a range of tax technical issues in a dynamic, collaborative environment, please apply now.
