Semi Senior Accountant / Bookkeeper - Music Clients

Are you an experienced Bookkeeper / Semi Senior Accountant from a practice background with at least 2 years of bookkeeping / general practice based experience (or more) and now looking to upgrade to a London based practice that specialises in working with high profile music based clients? Would you like the opportunity to work with many established and up and coming music bands and groups and have the opportunity to go to gigs and music festivals? If so, this niche accountancy practice firm in a prime location in a trendy part of London is looking to recruit a new member of staff due to impressive growth over the last few years. Your role will be varied, and will include being trained so that you can prepare high profile bookkeeping assignments, prepare tour & artiste accounts, VAT returns and various reports, analysis and business management assignments. You will also gain exposure to a number of ad hoc projects that often arise. Your role will be varied and challenging, and training will be provided where necessary.

To be considered for this new role it is likely you will be a qualified AAT (or AAT level 4), part qualified ACCA or qualified by experience. You must have at least 2 years of bookkeeping based experience at an accountancy practice firm (or more). Your current role must include general bookkeeping and accounting duties and you must now be looking to upgrade to a niche practice where you can continue with your accountancy career and specialise in an interesting client base. An interest in music clients is essential. You must also be able to work in a very fast pace environment and be a self starter. Experience of sage is required.
