Finance Director

Robertson Bell Finance are currently recruiting for a Finance Director on a permanent basis. Our client is an Educational Institute based in Croydon that has gone through an exciting and continuous period of expansion and growth over the last 18 months with this hands-on opportunity forming a pivotal part of the senior management team. Reporting into the COO and responsible for an annual budget of c£30m in an institute rated 'Excellent' by OFSTED, the position of Finance Director has overall responsibility for strategic planning, hands-on financial management, financial reporting and building strong relationships to ensure they build and maintain a sound financial position. Specific responsibilities include: *Production of the annual budget *Production of monthly management accounting packs *Work with external auditors to ensure all financial information is accurate and available for the annual audit. *Management of the Institutes private fund accounts *Running and development of financial and payroll systems *Attend board, audit and finance committee meetings when necessary. *Management of a team of 9.This position would be perfect for someone looking to grow in a challenging and changing role and organisation.
