Insurance Broker

Our Client is one of the largest and most successful independent brokers in the UK Insurance market, with a national presence. They now have an excellent opportunity for an Insurance Broker to work within one of their specialist teams, providing insurance advice to a range of long standing clients.

With an excellent knowledge of the Commercial Insurance product base, you will join an existing team of Brokers who work with a wide range of clients. It is also vital that you work well with the wider internal team and build up a good rapport with the Account Executives and also insurers linked to the portfolio.

Responsibilities

• To advise clients on the most appropriate solutions for their Commercial insurance
• To negotiate with insurers in order to achieve a satisfactory outcome on behalf of the client
• To work with Account Executive in the handling of client portfolios
• Handle and complete new business enquiries
• Liaise with clients and insurers regarding day-to-day handling of policies
• Keep documentation up to date, including registers and working procedures
• Represent the company in direct meetings with clients and insurers
• Providing a back-up service to the Account Managers

The ideal applicant will need to have previous experience working as an Insurance broker You will have new business appetite, excellent communication skills, Microsoft Office knowledge as well as having the ability to listen and understand your clients needs.
