Specific Job Responsibilities include:

  • Auditing experience in the financial services (banking, investment funds and insurance) and hospitality industries is an advantage;  
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to relate well with clients;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; 
  • The ability to work independently and under pressure to meet strict deadlines; 
  • Proficiency in a variety of software applications;  
  • The ability to pay close attention to detail and ensure accuracy of reports and data; and 
  • The ability to coach and mentor junior staff while simultaneously fostering synergy in a team-based environment.

Qualifcation include:

ACCA or other professional accounting designation recognized by the Bahamas Institute of Chartered Accountants; and at least 3 to 4 years current professional public accounting experience, one of which should be at a supervisory level.
