Finance Planning Manager Information Security Date Posted May 15, 2018 JOB DESCRIPTION The Finance Planning Manager is responsible for the financial health of Information Security function within WTW, including both investment change and BAU budgets. With links to planning and delivery by developing financial plans and reports (short, medium and long term) in line with Info Sec strategic goals in addressing top threats to the organisation (globally). The Role Key deliverables but not limited to Portfolio / Program / Function accounting Budgeting and forecasting Balance and sheet Recs Cost avoidance assessments Meet requirements as specified from a qualitative and timely perspective Ensure appropriate apportioned funding monitored against BAU and Change demands and flagging shortfalls and risks to drive and represent decisions Finance and wider strategic change captures necessary requirements for accounting production (month end and year end) Manage and lead any finance audit assignments on behalf of Information Security Working in partnership with the WTW Finance Business Partner aligned to IS allocation of funding to manage and oversee any PMO activity related to financial month end and year end processes Liaise with Project Managers in preparation of month end accruals and appropriate deliverables (review forecast data and maintain InfoSec Program cost data for reporting change costs) Establishing both change and operational outlook and informed trends, examples of these reports would be How do we quantify the cost of incidents How do we get cost transparency / transfer to Line of Business (LOB) How do we allocate and assign the cost for Application security The Requirements Highly Numerate Excellent Excel skills Used Planview or equivalent financial planning tool(s) Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or qualified by experience) coupled with commercial experience Capability to work efficiently and creatively in a fast-moving environment Ability to work in a team environment Strong communications skills Can distil and succinctly message a complex story to senior exec level Review and challenge the financial reporting process and numbers to ensure high levels of control are maintained Experience and confident with defining financial reporting outputs to meet internal stakeholder requirements Strong analytical skills Excellent attention to detail Sound knowledge of finance processes and relevant architecture Experience in leading people and teams including leading through a period of sizeable change Excellent working knowledge of professional standards and codes Computer literacy and a good understanding of systems and software (desirable) Desirable Relevant academic qualification (e.g. University degree) or equivalent Project and/or Program Management qualifications (Prince2, MSP, APM, P30 etc.) The Company Willis Towers Watson is a leading global advisory, broking and solutions company that helps clients around the world turn risk into a path for growth.
