Senior Accountant

Rutherford Briant are recruiting for an Accounts Senior in Norwich.

Our client is a leading Regional firm of Chartered Accountants, who are looking to add an experienced Accounts Senior into their fast growing team. This role presents the opportunity to work within a fast paced environment that can provide a large scope for progression.

The main responsibilities of the role are:

• Preparation of financial accounts as part of a team of part-qualified and qualified staff.
• Overseeing the production of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts.
• Reviewing quarterly Management Accounts, chargeable budgets, monthly management statistics, nominal reconciliation, fixed asset reconciliations.
• Assisting the Finance Executive in developing robust budgetary and forecasting processes

The ideal candidate will be ACA, ACCA or CIMA part qualified and will have experience working within Practice. They will have experience in the production of Partnership accounts and Limited Company, excellent excel skills, a strong analytical mind, experience of using complex accounting packages and Access Dimensions.
