About the Contract:
The Toowoomba Second Range Crossing is the one of the largest road infrastructure projects in Queensland's history. The $1.6 billion project is a 41km road bypass route to the north of Toowoomba. When finished, it will connect the Warrego Highway at Helidon Spa in the east to the Gore Highway at Athol in the west via Charlton. The construction phase of the project will be completed in late 2018 and Broadspectrum will take over as the Operations and Maintenance provider.

About the role:
This hands on role will perform best practice finance and administrative duties for the Operations and Maintenance of major infrastructure Transport Projects. The incumbent will assist in meeting financial outcomes both from a revenue and expenses perspective. The role incorporates general reception and administrative duties which are the essence of the smooth running of a successful office environment.

The key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Use SAP to manage procurement and raise requisitions
• Report on, and present financial results regularly
• Assist business unit managers to identify revenue streams, forecast and understand their spending to make informed decisions and maintain profitability without compromising on service
• Manage incoming and outgoing invoices
• Audit spares, incoming and outgoing stock and usage, reporting findings
• Perform administration and office duties
• Reception Desk duties
• Procurement as directed

What's Required:

• Demonstrate experience / knowledge of management accounting
• Demonstrate experience / knowledge of financial software packages, databases and spreadsheets
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of cost accounting and financial reporting
• Ability to communicate clearly at all levels
