We are looking to recruit a talented Financial Accountant to join our growing team in Wotton-Under-Edge.
A vacancy has arisen for a Financial Accountant to work as part of a small team. Primarily the role will be financial and management accounts, but the post holder will also need to be flexible to provide assistance in other areas of finance including Cash Management, Credit Control, Sales Invoicing and Purchase Ledger. You will be responsible for supervising the finance team and also be required to deputise for the Financial Director as necessary.
Within this role you will be responsible for:
* Producing the management accounts for the Venue part of the business.
* Preparing and submitting the quarterly VAT returns.
* Maintaining the company’s Fixed Asset Register, including making additions and disposals and running the monthly depreciation, and dealing with the monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations.

Essential Skills
This is a busy and demanding role and the successful applicant will need to be:
* Numerate with excellent attention to detail, have good communication skills,
* A flexible attitude to work and be computer literate with a good working knowledge of Excel and Word.
* Experience of Sage is desirable but not essential as training will be given.
* An accountancy qualification (e.g. ACCA/CIMA) and relevant experience within a similar role is a pre-requisite.
