Account Closures Administrator

Based within impressive city centre offices, my client is a highly reputable, FTSE 250 Wealth Management firm, with a strong presence in the Liverpool market.

Due to continued success, this leading firm now have an exciting opportunity available for an Account Closures Administrator to join their busy team on a 12 month contract.

This is the ideal role for a candidate with proven financial services experience, ideally with an understanding of account closure processes.

The Account Closures Administrator will be responsible for:

• Review, action and save all closure requests via the Account Closures database, ensuring necessary supporting documentation is provided
• Agreeing the transfer of stocks with other firms and ensuring their prompt settlement via CREST and EMX and STFs to Unit Trust Managers by chasing regularly
• Liaising regularly with our 3rd party custodians to ensure prompt settlement of Overseas holdings.
• Ensure that all ISA transfer paperwork is completed in line with HMRC regulations.
• Payment of closed account balances according to Client Money Regulations.
• Remove stock from accounts when settlement has occurred.

Essential Requirements are:

• To have at least 1 year of industry experience is preferable, although full training will be provided.
• To be adaptable and flexible, and able to accept responsibility for given tasks
• To have excellent organisational and time management skills
• Effective problem solver, generating practical solutions to often complex issues.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Ability to effectively prioritise workloads.
