Assistant Financial Controller - Contract

Assistant Financial Controller - Contract - Dublin 24   Immediate start required for an experienced Accountant with a demonstrated working background in a multinational environment, preferably within shared services. An exposure to the pharmaceuticals industry would be an added bonus.    The role will involve an element of leadership.    Financial Management and Reporting -  deliver the monthly/quarterly and annual reporting in accordance with IFRS and corporate requirements, ensuring accurate financial data is submitted on time via the outsourced provider   Drive the provision of clean financial results - P&L & BS. Report results to the FD on monthly basis and understand variances to plan/forecast. Ensure proper financial control across the businesses. Monitor R2R services provided by the outsourced provider, through review of SLA's, KPI's, escalations and the voice of the customer. Ensure appropriate internal controls are in place and operating effectively to mitigate any risk or financial loss or misstatement Liaise with external and internal auditors.   Candidates interested in applying will require: Accountancy qualification Professional qualifications (eg ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) Strong technical accounting skills (including GSK Finance Policies and Chart of Accounts, IFRS and local Irish GAAP) Excellent working knowledge of SAP/ JDE Previous multinational or shared services experience    For more information please call Louise.Greene(at)cpl.ie on +353 1 947 6203
