Description
The duties for the role Credit Controller (FMCG) are:
Reconciling customer accounts (accountancy)
Releasing orders to cut-off times
Chasing payments via telephone and email
Solving and monitoring invoice queries efficiently
Dealing with proof of delivery and damaged goods
Dealing with a ledger valued at £50M with 4000 customers
Opening accounts and setting credit limits
Allocating payments per customer remittances
Reporting on aged debt (accountancy)
Meeting with Sales team, internal departments and customer to resolve account issues
Providing ad hoc reporting as requested
Assisting with forecasting and reporting to identify issues
Maintain accurate records of all activity
Profile
The successful Credit Controller will have the following:
Previous experience in Credit Control
Chasing in a product base industry
Excellent attention to detail
Accurate data entry skills
Understanding of accountancy concepts
Organisational skills
Excellent communication skills
Good knowledge of MS Excel
Job Offer
The successful Credit Controller will join the team on a permanent basis. The client can offer a salary between £28000 and £30,000 depending on experience.
