Head of Financial & Regulatory Reporting

Supporting and reporting in to the CFO, this role shall oversee all areas of financial reporting, governance policy and regulatory reporting aligned to central bank procedure & compliance. This broad ranging role shall be heavily geared towards the oversight of areas of financial accounting, to ensure adequate statutory reporting, whilst also overlooking the financial policy, linked to IFRS, meeting both group internal procedures and external audit prerequisites. The role will also be focused towards the development and implementation of new processes and accounting policies to ensure the strongest financial rigor and a culture of accounting ownership within the finance division.

The successful candidate should be a Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA) ideally from a Big 4 background and a trained focus within an audit and IFRS-related role. The client will look to pinpoint a candidate who has worked within the banking or financial services sector across a financial controlling & reporting based role. You shall be expected to deliver a strong track record within a compliance and regulatory-based role whereby senior reporting lines, both internal & external, can be handled and tailored to meet specific needs. In conjunction, it is important that you can deliver a hybrid of skills spanning technical proficiency, a knowledge of banking and a commercial gravitas to manage stakeholder relationships.
