£50,000 to £60,000 per annum plus benefits

Our client is a well-established and highly respected finance company and the UK’s leading provider of innovative lending solutions, primarily for the purchase of prestige, classic and exotic cars.

As they continue to expand their Head Office operation they are keen to appoint an experienced risk and compliance professional to report into the board of directors.

The Risk and Compliance Manager is responsible for the following:

• Ensuring that the company operates in a compliant manner in accordance with regulatory and legal requirements, professional standards and internal policies with Control Function responsibilities for Compliance Oversight (CF10) and Money Laundering Reporting (CF11).
• Implementation and monitoring of robust internal procedures and governance.
• Formulation of new policies and procedures.
• Delivery of an updated compliance plan and an ongoing compliance monitoring programme.
• Providing leadership to the Senior Risk and Compliance Officer and the broader compliance team.
• Ensuring that the company is abreast of and adheres to all current regulatory requirements.
• Review and update an assurance programme to highlight / identify any compliance issues.
• Design and maintenance of an adequate risk MI dashboard to report to the board.
• Review applications for all new introducers.
• Prepare for any internal and external compliance audits and reviews.

We are keen to receive applications and enquiries from experienced Risk and Compliance specialists with a successful track record in financial services - this could include consumer finance, business finance, asset finance, banking, insurance or some other similar regulated environment.

You must have the ability to manage, inspire and train a small but growing team.

You must also be able to take a commercial approach to risk and compliance whilst keeping the company safe and well within regulatory guidelines.
