A leading Employee Benefits business is currently seeking to recruit for an experienced Financial Planner to join their team in Bromsgrove.
Their current requirement is for an experienced Adviser to join the business to take over the existing clients which have been left behind by an Adviser who is leaving the business after several years.
As a Financial Planner you will be responsible for the retention and income growth of a portfolio of existing accounts and for the generation of new income through new business acquisition.
The role benefits from significant numbers of incoming client enquiries from the employees of its corporate clients though the successful candidate will also be expected to generate additional meetings from client referrals.
Candidates for this position must be at least PFS Diploma level qualified (or equivalent,) hold CF30 or have completed gap fill leading to SPS, and should ideally be able to demonstrate pension transfer specialist experience and qualifications (AF7, AF3 or G60) although this is not essential.
To be considered for the vacancy you will need in depth industry knowledge of the market gained from previous roles in the industry, along with sound Financial Planning product knowledge covering private client Investments and Pensions. Experience of working with Group Schemes and their Directors would also be an advantage. A proven track record in development and securing / building new client relationships is essential.
