Group Management Accountant

This group management accountant role has been created to support a business who has experienced dramatic changes and growth over the past 18 months, this role will be initially assigned to bringing annual and monthly accounts up to date, this role will then support some business acquisition and implementation of new and effective processes.

This role will require a start date ASAP.

This business are a North West business who operate in the FMCG sector, working for this business you will benefit from a fast pace environment with a strong market position. This role is based in a Head Office in Liverpool close to transport links.

Description

This Group Management Accountant role will include the following duties;

*Production and management of balance sheet reconciliations and support controls within Finance to ensure good practice.

*Support of process and system changes

*Support Preparation of statutory accounts.

*Providing monthly reporting of financial performance.

*Ensuring maintenance and the integrity of all revenue and debtor accounts, ensuring all associated balance sheet accounts are reconciled on a monthly basis.

*Ensure creation of weekly debtors report assisting in resolution of queries, ensuring cheques, BACS and other receipts are recorded correctly against the debtor accounts.

*Interface all prime accounting documentation into the accounting system in preparation for monthly accounts.

*Manage and prepare accruals, prepayments and provisions in the accounts

*Responsible for validity of journal transactions within central finance.

*Support compliance within the organisation for VAT.

*Distribution of management information.

*Ad-hoc projects

Profile

This Group Management Accountant role will be looking an immediately available individual who possesses for the following skill set;

*Excellent accountant with experience working on statuary and management accounts

*Excellent system skills

*Part qualified or QBE accountant

* Knowledge of VAT.

*Ideally as well as having experience working in business(s) have experience of audit and due diligence within an accountancy practice environment.

*Professional attitude

Job Offer

This role will offer a daily rate between 12-160 per day depending on experience, candidates with their own limited companies are also welcome to apply.
