The organisation are based in the heart of West Yorkshire and offer award-winning services across the UK. They function commercially and as a result they have recently undergone some successful growth resulting in the need to recruit a Financial Accounting and Reporting Manager.

Description

The role of Financial Accounting and Reporting Manager is a key position which provides a great opportunity for the successful candidate to support with the development and growth of the charity. As well as managing a team, you will be responsible for the following areas:

• Ensure the production of the statutory accounts for the Charity and it's trading subsidiaries.
• Develop a forecasting method for balance sheets and cash flow.
• Oversee the production of the monthly management accounts.
• Provide recommendations for improvement of financial controls and processes.

Profile

You will ideally be a CCAB qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA/CIPFA) or equivalent with demonstrable experience of managing a finance team. You'll be confident with using your accountancy experience in developing balance sheets and cash flow forecasting, as well as experience of working to a structured month-end timetable.

Job Offer

For the role of Financial Accounting and Reporting Manager the salary will be circa. £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience and does offer the possibility of a bonus scheme too. With a typical working week consisting of 35 hours, and the offer of flexible work patterns, there is a large trust culture developed within the Charity.
