An investment bank in the City of London is seeking a Balance Sheet Reporting Accountant to join their Regional Control department on a contractual basis.
As a Reporting Accountant your key tasks will include but not be limited to the following:
- Monitor and control the accurate reporting of the London Branch & Subsidiaries Financial Balance Sheet to Head Office
- Data integrity of balance sheet for Financial and Management reporting
- Submit month end returns to head office
- Liaise with Transactional control team to ensure all suspense balances are correctly processed at month end as well as ensuring cash breaks are cleared
- Process improvements
- Month, quarter and year end reporting
- General adhoc duties
Key skills required as a Reporting Accountant
- Investment banking background essential
- Qualified Accountant - ACA, ACCA or CIMA
- Balance sheet reporting experience
- Experience with multi-entity reporting
