Qualification: Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA ,CA or similar), Masters in Commerce.
Desired work experience: At least 10 years of post qualification/PG work experience, including at least 8 years of UK accounting experience with a good working knowledge of
UK GAAP, VAT and PAYE for UK
Principal responsibilities :
Technical skills :
Good working knowledge of UK GAAP
Fluency in using MS office tools like Outlook, Word and Excel
Experience with existing softwares used in the UK would be an added advantage

Principal responsibilities :
- Review all Deliverables to ensure a high level of quality of service prior to their delivery to Clients
- Managing portfolio of clients and for ensuring that Service Levels are met, and to act as a single point of contact for Clients
- Prioritise workload in accordance with Clients instructions
- Provide technical assistance to Management Accountants/ Accountants as required in the team
- Regularly review Service Level achievements and actively promote procedural improvements where appropriate
- Coordinate with all parties to ensure the smooth functioning of processes
- Participate in Client handover telephone calls and post service delivery debrief calls, acting on instructions and feedback in an appropriate manner
- Ensure that all relevant staff are kept up-to-date with client-related news, communication, cash flow/ financial performance issues etc
- Generally seeking to be proactive and add value to Clients
- Behavioural skills :

- Good English communication skills, written and verbal
- Good telephone etiquette
- Strong decision making skills with a good eye for detail
