Reporting into the Financial Reporting Manager, the Group Accountant will be vital in ensuring that the business is kept up to date with changes to accounting requirements for this role based in the international head office of this pharmaceutical brand located in Reading.

Description
As the Group Accountant, you will be responsible for keeping the group accounts up to date with any changes to IFRS accounting standards. You will also be preparing the company and group statutory accounts, be a key contact for auditors, and as the Group Accountant you will assist other finance departments with technical accounting issues.
Profile
For this Group Accountant role in Reading we are looking for a newly qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA qualified) who has experience of auditing group accounts at Head Office in line with IFRS, reviewing statutory and consolidated accounts, is up to date with changes to IFRS and has strong Excel skills. Previous experience with consolidations and IFRS is advantageous but is not a requirement for this role.
