A successful firm of accountants, based near Rochester, Kent, is looking to bolster their team, with the addition of an experienced, Semi Senior/ Senior Accountant, with the right candidate having had previous experience of working within the accountancy practice profession. Joining this growing business, you will have a very varied, hands on role, providing wide ranging services, to this firms mixed industry clients.
Client Details
A well established firm of chartered accountants, based near Rochester. The firm has very varied clients across differing industries, across wide ranging sole traders, partnerships and limited company SMEs and OMBs. With a core client range up to around £1,000,0000 in turnover, the firms also has larger clients with much greater turnovers. With a team orientated, hands on set up, there is exposure to providing services right across the range of across accounts, tax, bookkeeping, management accounts,VAT and payroll etc.
Description
Joining the firm as Semi Senior / Senior Accountant, based in their offices near Rochester, you will have a hands on role, preparing accounts, tax returns, both personal and corporate, VAT returns, with additional involvement in bookkeeping, preparing management accounts, along with potential for other involvement as well, in areas like payroll services etc. You will therefore have a varied role, providing services to mixed industry clients, across sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
Profile
You may be an AAT qualified technician, or perhaps studying ACCA, or looking to build further on your experience following qualifying ACA/ ACCA. Alternatively, professionals who have developed their careers purely through experience are equally of interest. Most importantly, you will have a background working in an accountancy practice, with at least 2 - 4 years, or more experience within practice, as a semi senior / senior accountant, preparing accounts, tax and other responsibilities for a mixed client base of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
Job Offer
£20,000 - £30,000 plus benefits and study support, dependent on experience and background, negotiable.
