My client are within the Retail and Manufacturing sector and are based in the heart of St Albans. They are recruiting for a permanent Accounts Assistant role which involves Sales Ledger, General Reconciliations and much more.

Seeking a team player who enjoys training and progressing within a company and is eager to learn. Salary starting at £25,000 - £26,000 with great benefits attached, study support and progression.

Client Details

My client are a growing company and sell their products to well known retailers across the UK. They have a medium sized finance team at their head office in St Albans and are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join them on a permanent basis, looking after their Accounts Receivables function and then progressing in the future. The company are an excellent employer and offer great training, study support and progression.

Description

  • Assisting the Credit Control team
  • Raising invoices and credits and assigning them to correct general ledger
  • Reconciliation and allocation of self-billed customer accounts
  • Process refund requests
  • Ad hoc reporting
  • Raising delivery discrepancy reports and tracking progress through to completion
  • Processing of account applications, including credit checking

Profile

  • Ideally a background in a similar role, working within a finance department
  • Team player who is eager to learn and progress
  • Good communication skills and happy to assist others
  • Proficient with Excel
  • Hard working
  • Numerate
