Finance Analyst

A global business in the heart of Watford are seeking a Finance Analyst to join them on a permanent basis. This is an exciting chance to join a fast moving company who have a global presence and are growing rapidly. You will be part of their back office function and partner with key stakeholders, produce monthly management accounts and conduct Financial Analysis.

My client are a dynamic company who are currently going through a period of exciting growth. You will be part of a wider Finance function and be a key part in the team and be responsible for providing financial support and analysis across the business services function to ensure that there is adequate management information to support decision making.

Description

• Provide concise management information to key stakeholders
• Financial management of the business area and related costs centres
• Monitor performance against budget
• Develop and enhance reporting and analysis to better understand the impact of change
• Management of month end process
• Supervise two junior members of staff
• Modelling of periodic forecasts, budgets, business plans and projects
• Provide analysis on data and interpreting headcount
• Becoming an expert in all financial systems
• Manage the distribution of financial reporting across the business area
• Assisting with projects across Finance as required
• Financial Analysis

Profile

• Ideally an ACCA or CIMA Finalist
• A background with Management Accounts/Business Partnering/Financial Analysis
• Intermediate Excel (Pivot Tables and Vlookups)
• Local to Watford
• Commercially minded and experience of Business Partnering
• Proactive approach to problem solving
• Ability to meet deadlines
