Division Cost & Budget Control Partner (Oral and Skincare) ( Job Number 18000BWJ ) Description SALARY Circa 35,000 Pension, Bonus, BUPA and other outstanding benefits MAIN JOB PURPOSE The Finance Excellence Team (FET) is a core pillar within the Unilever Finance Operating Model. The Division FET is an expertise teams to directly business partners the Global and Regional marketing teams under 3 core areas of Innovation, Budget Management and Information management. Working within the FET provides ambitious individuals with the opportunity to experience the fast-paced environment of FMCG, working in a Global team and exposure across all Unilever categories and markets. The role that we are recruiting for has a focus on Oral and Skin Care within Personal Care (PC), the biggest Unilever division with an annual turnover of over 20 billion and the home of many well-known brands such as Dove, Axe, and many more. The Cost & Budget team play a key role in the budgeting, tracking, controlling and partnering of Division costs across global and regional Division teams. The team is rolling out a new key budget tool and will require individuals who thrive on working within a change environment. The successful candidate will require proven controlling and business partner experience JOB SUMMARY Controlling the Oral and Skin Care budget Work closely with the Oral and Skin Care business partner and VPs on budget re-allocations and forecast submissions Play a leading role in the roll out of new P2P functionalities in the budget tool Maintenance of a standardized budget management tool across a wide portfolio of Divisional spend Key point of contact for Business Partners on all budget management matters across a wide portfolio of Divisional spend Own the monthly tracking of actuals and forecast across a wide portfolio of Divisional spend Lead partnering interventions where budget variances or cost anomalies are identified and reviewed with business partners to resolve Support Business Partners on budget reallocation decisions enabled via timely & accurate information together with Divisional specific expertise Perform key financial control processes including Month End close reviews, GRIR and accrual management Drive process improvement and job fundamental across marketing teams to ensure a right first time inputs Lead an expertise topic across all categories to drive our team capabilities and efficiency KEY REQUIREMENTS Experience in presenting and communicating with senior management Ability to manage large and complex set of stakeholders Strong data management and manipulation capabilities Pro-active team player Strength in holding others accountable Probably Part Qualified CIMA/ACCA COMPANY OVERVIEW Unilever is a global Fast-Moving Consumer Goods company in the UK and Ireland.
