TIBCO we are just scratching the surface. Assist Tax Director with EMEA VAT returns, tax reconciliations and other ad hoc tax projects. The job holder will be expected to perform the following- Prepare reports for VAT returns and EC Sales Lists Assist with direct and indirect tax compliance in various jurisdictions working with external advisers and managing relevant tax payments Prepare and review of tax computations Liaising with external advisors, revenue authorities & auditors on various direct and indirect tax matters Prepare GL journal entries Extract reports from Oracle accounting software Request foreign tax returns information and true-up Assist with tax technical queries The role has a potential for a significant growth and expansion within the tax department for someone interested in choosing this tax career path Part Qualified, studying towards AITI Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA), or accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, ACA, CIMA), or international equivalent, with a minimum of 1 year exposure to a large PLC or subsidiary of a large Multinational. Interest in the international taxation area. Analytical ability to provide suggestions and alternatives to complex scenarios Strong oral and written communication Working knowledge of Excel, Oracle accounting software The candidate should be able to demonstrate a high degree of initiative, strong interpersonal and excellent communications skills Please note you must have full working rights for the country you are applying for.
