Our client is looking for a Sales ledger Clerk to join their Accountancy team at their office in Sutton.

Description

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Post petty cash payments accurately onto the finance system within the agreed time scales
  • Ensure VAT is properly accounted for on petty cash expenditure.
  • Reconcile the petty cash accurately and according to agreed deadlines.
  • Ensure that all work done meets appropriate professional and technical standards
  • Upload and scan all invoices
  • Ensure invoices are matched with delivery notes and official orders
  • Process staff reimbursements on the finance system.
  • Filing of invoices
  • Process Direct Debits and Standing Orders on Finance System and Excel.
  • Reconciliation of Supplier Statements

Profile

The successful candidate

  • Broad all round systems and PC Skills.
  • Ability to prioritise their workload
  • Maintain an organised working area and supervise one accounts payable assistant.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Job Offer

£20,000 - £25,000
