About the Role
As a Credit Risk Analyst you will be a key influencer operating at a strategic level, building strong and influential relationships with senior stakeholders, and will play a crucial role in driving and optimising credit decision making.
Your key focus will be our online instalment product, Dot Dot Loans, working on the development of risk management strategies including new customer acquisition and existing customer re-lending, undertaking analysis to ensure lending is in accordance with Credit Risk Policy, investigating issues trends and emerging issues and developing appropriate solutions to deliver improved business performance, and performing analysis on data gathered from Credit Reference Agencies to design and develop innovative approaches to the credit approval process. Although the role focuses on our online lending Business, there will be plenty of variety and opportunities for you to support our core Home Collect Credit business too.

About you
A highly motivated individual with up to two years previous experience of credit risk management and associated analytical techniques, and educated to degree level in Mathematics, Statistics or economics. You will have excellent analytical and numeric skills, advanced level Excel, and the ability to drive insight from data and recommend action, as well as deliver accurate results within tight deadlines.
Ideally you will have experience of SAS Enterprise Miner / SAS Enterprise Guide, proven experience of credit risk scorecard and engine design development, and knowledge of Credit Reference Agency data and reporting, however this can be learnt in the role with the right attitude and aptitude.
